Mental Health problems affect one in four of us yet we are still afraid to talk about it.
Described as the `silent epidemic’, the incidence of mental health problems within the construction industry is widespread and well-documented. The aim of this year’s `Time To Talk Day’ on 7th February was to encourage people to talk about mental health and at alinea we did just that.
We believe it is important to have an environment where people can speak openly about how they’re feeling so that we can provide appropriate support for them in their work and personal lives. We take a holistic approach to wellbeing at alinea and whilst these regular focus sessions are just one aspect of our comprehensive wellness offer, they are key to maintaining optimal levels of physical and mental wellbeing in the workplace.
