We recently took a group of 10 visiting from Reading University for a site walk around our exciting 8 Bishopsgate project.
The visit is part of an ongoing relationship we have with the university and is intended to give students preparing to enter the industry a glimpse into how complex projects operate during construction, with particular focus on the core, steel frame and MEP installations that are currently making up most of the activity on site as the tower races towards ‘topping out’. A presentation was also provided by the construction managers, Lendlease, on how BIM is being utilised on the project, and the benefits it has brought after early adoption by the team during design and now during construction.
