On Sunday 6th May, alinea sponsored triathlete Alex Yee overcame a field of 282 triathletes to win the 2018 British Universities & Colleges Sport Sprint Triathlon, in a combined time of 1:01:10. On a day when the sun was shining bright and temperatures were in the mid 20’s, Alex made a fantastic start – exiting the water in 12th position.
Following a quick transition, he then climbed up to 11th place during the bike leg, before producing another top class run performance, completing the 5k distance in first place, in just 14:32. A huge congratulations to Alex! We cant wait to see how he performs at his next event: Night of the 10,000m PB’s, on the 19th May.
