On Thursday 24th May we hosted our third alinea forum on BIM and how it is being used in the industry. This event was well attended with guests from a number of disciplines. Two of our multi-award winning BIM team presented on their experience and utilisation using BIM within projects. Discussion was had around how we, as an industry, can truly utilise BIM; by harvesting accurate data, validating quantities and areas for use throughout the project and advance the relationship between BIM and Procurement. The improved coordination, clarity and mitigation of risk, enables robust returns from the market when managed correctly. There was a good debate after the presentation where a number of questions around BIM were discussed in detail. This was a thoroughly engaging session and we thank everyone for attending.
