Partner, Steve Watts heads to China today (05 April 2019). The main event is the CTBUH Awards Conference in Shenzhen, with 600 people expected to enjoy two days of presentations from teams who have been shortlisted for their projects, innovations and specialist inputs. As well as chairing proceedings, Steve will be sitting on the Best Tall Building jury, which based on last year’s awards is bound to involve some heated debate! It all culminates in a long Awards Dinner, during which the winners in each category will be revealed.
Steve will also be attending the annual CTBUH Board of Trustees Meeting, a signboard ceremony for Ping An tower in Shenzhen (the tallest all-office building in the world) and some developer-hosted receptions.
