Dementia UK | Our new charity partner

At our 4th anniversary celebration earlier this year, we marked the end of our partnership with the National Autistic Society (NAS) who have been our sponsored charity for the past 3 years.  We took some time to reflect on all of the enjoyment in raising money and awareness for a worthy cause, and we hope our contributions have offered assistance to the enormous work that NAS perform. Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end, and we wish NAS every success as they continue on their journey.

alinea’s search for a new charity partner started with a long list of worthwhile charitable causes, all put forward by the alinea team.  Through a democratic voting process, Dementia UK was chosen as our new charity partner. We have subsequently met with Dementia UK who have told us more about the work the charity does to assist people and families affected by dementia. Following this, there was a strong feeling of excitement and energy to partner with Dementia UK for the next chapter in our history. Fundraising activities have already taken place as we immediately became involved in Time for a Cuppa on 6th March 2017 and Red Lippy Day on 5th May 2017, with both events helping to raise awareness for Dementia UK.

We feel privileged and inspired to be working with Dementia UK and we look forward to working closely together and developing a relationship that is fruitful for both parties.
