The London Clinic

The London Clinic is one of the UK’s largest and most successful independent charitable hospitals. As such, a core aim is to maintain its status as a world-class medical centre of choice for patients, consultants and staff. The project included the creation of a new landmark entrance on Harley Street, to offer an enhanced patient and visitor experience.

The new atrium enclosure consists of a four-storey glazed entrance space for the Clinic within the existing courtyard of 149 Harley Street, which provides a modern and dynamic reception amenity. Reconfiguration of the ground floor creates entrance, admissions and associated support accommodation and provides effective connections to the new lift core. The project also included the shell and core works and fit-out of four new state-of-the-art operating theatres with a new lift tower to facilitate the recovery function.
